Terms of Service
Last updated 19 August 2026
These terms cover your use of Covo. By creating an account or joining a conversation, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.
Who you're contracting with
Covo is operated by Hossam Foad, an individual (sole trader) in Egypt.

Who can use Covo
You must be 18 or older. Covo pairs you with strangers for live, unmoderated audio conversation, and we don't offer it to minors under any circumstances. We ask for your age during setup and you may not misrepresent it.
One account per person. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account.
What Covo is
Covo is conversation software. It connects you with another person for a short, anonymous voice or text conversation. You choose preferences — language, country, interests — and we pair you with someone compatible. Conversations are live and between the two of you.
Covo is not a dating service, dating application, or matchmaking service for romance. There is no dating profile, no photos required, no follower graph, and no way to reconnect with someone after a conversation ends unless you both choose to stay in that same live session.
We don't record your conversations, and we don't listen to them. That also means we can't retrieve one for you, and we generally can't verify what was said in one.
How you must behave
You agree not to use Covo to:
- Harass, threaten, demean or sexually harass anyone.
- Share sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises a minor.
- Promote hate against people based on who they are.
- Share content that is illegal where you or the other person are.
- Advertise, recruit, scam, phish, or solicit money.
- Record another person without their knowledge and consent.
- Attempt to identify, locate, or contact someone outside Covo without consent.
- Automate, scrape, or interfere with the service or other people's use of it.
Anyone can report a conversation. We review reports and may warn, suspend, or permanently ban an account. Serious cases — especially anything involving a minor or a credible threat — may be reported to law enforcement.
Paid plans and tokens
Premium filters (matching by gender and age) cost tokens. A paid plan (Covo Pro, Max, or Ultra) gives you an allowance of tokens that refills automatically each month; you can also buy tokens into a wallet without subscribing. Wallet tokens don't expire. Your plan allowance is used before any wallet tokens.
Tokens are prepaid usage for Covo's own matching features. They have no cash value, aren't a currency, can't be transferred between accounts or to anyone else, and can't be exchanged for money except as described in our Refund Policy.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your profile; access continues to the end of the period you've already paid for. We may change prices or allowances, and will give notice before a change affects an active subscription.
Payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy. Paddle — not Covo — appears on your statement and issues your invoice. You accept these terms and our Refund Policy when you complete a purchase.
We may change prices, plan allowances or the cost of a filtered match. Changes never apply retroactively to something you've already bought, and we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the app before a change affects an active subscription. If you don't accept a change, cancel before it takes effect.
Age, and what happens if you're under 18
Age is self-declared during setup — we don't currently verify it with documents. That doesn't make the rule optional. If we find or are told that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it, and any unused balance is forfeited.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion removes your account and its data, and it can't be undone.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms. If we terminate an account for a serious breach, unused tokens and subscription time are forfeited.
Service availability
Covo is provided as is. We don't promise it will always be available, that you'll be matched, or that any particular conversation will go well. Live audio depends on your network and your device, and some networks block the connection entirely.
Limits on our liability
Covo doesn't vet the people you're matched with. Conversations are between you and another person, and you take part at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for what another user says or does, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Covo after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes go to its courts.
If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of mandatory consumer-law rules in the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings there. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
